Nastia is my Champion!

I love Nastia Liukin! She kicked some ass at the Olympic games and is walking away with tons O’ medals. I first took notice of her in the Gymnast movie “Stick It” all you ladies out there will love it, go rent it. I posted a clip above I don’t believe there is sound, but it’s Nastia! She kicked ass in the movie and although I don’t think she is loving it she is coming home with only one gold but like hello Beotch, you rock and here at two sweet commercials to prove it! I hope that she keeps competing and showing off the talent that she has, you can tell just by watching just how hard she is on herself so it’s nice to see her smile after that gold medal win. Go World, Go Nastia! P.s. How much of a pain in the ass would it be to grow up with that name, so P.s. If you ever gave her crap about her name, this gold is for you!

Ok I officially need a dog and I want to name him Wilber, or Wallace, or Banks. Or basically any “old man” names like Herman or Arthur. Anyone else want to take him home and make him waffles as much as I do? these dogs are “Frog” dogs because of their big ears. I think he would look really awesome in a cubs jersey!

A bit of a conundrum

I am in a fight with them men in my office (idiots, kidding). Here are the facts . . .

“A” likes this girl Stella, they have gone on two dates so far (one of my recommendation to Mccormick and Schmicks in Schaumburg!) Both according to “A” were successful.

I asked if he had another date planned yet. . . and he informed me she told him that she told her mother she would keep every day open for the next two weeks to help her grandparents move to their new apartment. Now I will preface this by saying that both are Jewish. I say this because I want to know if that changes things. I am a E & C Catholic (Easter and Christmas Mass attender) so I am unsure of the Jewish territory.

Now I asked the tough question. I asked when was the last time Stella called you? He replied “after I left her a message the other day”.

“So she has never just called you just on her own without returning a message?”

“No”

So I said in the spirit of “He is just not that into you” well that doesn’t seem like a good sign. A girl who is interested and likes you calls you. We want to know more about you. We want to learn what makes you tick. No call = Not interested.

With that all the men in my office chimed in and to my shock and amazement ( I like to think I am a man advice guru ) they all disagreed with me saying it was to early to call. What do you think?

I asked one other women in my office who is in her forties and she agreed with the men, am I off my rocker?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW, settle the dispute people!!!! My guru title is on the line!
